  • What are the living costs in Prague?

    For Central European standards, the living costs are slightly above average.  However, in turn, students receive superior services and much wider opportunities. The average monthly dormitory cost amounts to 150 €. If a private room in a flat is preferred, the price reaches 250 €. The total monthly expenses vary depending on your living standards, but generally students spend 350 – 700 € (accommodation, meals, transport and culture included).

  • Opportunities after I graduate, work placement coming home?

    The degrees awarded to the students are recognized in all countries of the European Union and most countries outside it. Therefore, after acquiring the degree, you will be eligible to become a doctor in virtually any country of your preference. Moreover, the large body of international students will allow you to build a network of connections with alumni for future collaborations.

  • What are the university fees?

    The annual tuition fee is 13,850 €.

  • English requirements?

    No declaration of language proficiency is required by this faculty; however, adequate English language skills are largely beneficial for the course.

  • What are the admission requirements?

    The entrance examination is done in the form of a multiple choice question test, testing the scientific knowledge of students in Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics. The language of examination is English. If successful, applicants must pass an oral interview that reviews their ability to interpret a scientific article and character traits.

    In order to be admitted without the entrance exam:

    IB students need to take Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics at High level. The minimum sum of points from these three subjects is 19 (6,6,7 or 5,7,7).

    A-level students need to complete Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics with the minimum results A, A, B.

  • Are there any additional costs?

    Do not worry: all additional costs, such as the recognition of your secondary education degree, are taken care of by us.

  • Is there any financial aid provided?

    Scholarships for excellent student results are provided.

  • Who can apply ?

    All applicants need to hold a degree of completed secondary (high school) education. International degrees do need to be recognised by the Czech recognition authority, but do not let that discourage you. Your degree will be most probably up to par with the Czech standards – we will take care of everything.

    IB students need to take any two of Biology, Chemistry or Physics at High level. A-level students need to complete at least 3 subjects with Grade C or better. Two of the subjects need to be any of Biology, Chemistry or Physics.

  • Visa requirements?

    EU citizens are not required to have a visa to commence studies within the European Economic Area. With the current uncertain political landscape in the UK and beyond, we are sure to provide you with the best assistance throughout the potential visa application process.
